Does anyone know how Sarah died? I'm a long ago friend who really feels badly that I didn't know, and didn't keep up with Sarah.

Sarah...you were in several of my art classes and you were one of the
best! I hope you still are using your art skills in heaven.

Best regards,

Sarah was a very pretty, very talented, and very nice person. It was Jan Davies who nudged me toward Sarah in our senior year, and then we were an item until the following fall, when we were each in different schools--she in Iowa and I in Illinois. We broke up by Christmas but then reconnected after the 20-year reunion, and I visited her in New Mexico twice and then corresponded with her over the next several years. She became a very spiritual person, and I believe she kept up a spirit of acceptance until the very end.

I actually named my youngest daughter after Sarah. I always thought she was so pretty and so nice. When my Sarah was born and it came time to name her I thought of Sarah Annis..one of "those" moments, you know the ones you have no idea where the thought came from. I just thought it was time you knew Sarah !

I remember when the Annis Family moved to Streator because they moved right across the alley from Nana Mohan. I remember meeting Sarah and how nice she was from day one. She was freckled faced and skinny mini (just like my sister MIMI). We became friends and played together whenever I was at Nana Mohans. Sarah's MOM was such a lady and her older brother Chuck, so nice.

Later, both of our families moved to Highland Park and we were neighbors. In high school, Jan and Sarah became good friends through ART. We all were DOLPHINS and almost drowned on a regular basis with good old Mary Kay Scouten!!

It was Jan who told me about Sarah's illness and death. They remained friends as anyone knowing Janetha Butterball Davies can understand. She is a true FRIEND.

The good die young. Sarah clearly is another example!

Sarah was a sweet, intelligent and caring person. She was my first date after getting a car. We went to the Lamp Lighter for dinner and Shirley Temples. She was way too smart and refined for this character. I am sure you are in the most beautiful of settings.
