A warm Hello to all of my classmates and friends.
It has been a long time since I have seen most of you. I hope you are all living your dreams.
After High School I worked at Owen's for 10 years. In 1979 I married and moved to Yorkville.
I worked for the Burlington Northern RR for 8 years. I have remained in transportation ever since. In 1997 I went through a divorce and returned to Streator to be close to friends and family. I re-married in 2001.
I work for Domestic Intermodal America. They are based out of Naperville IL but I work from home.
I have one son Jeff. He is my rock and he is a far better person than I ever was.
I was blessed with a grandson Blake. Blake is a true jock. He is all about sports. He is a Junior at Streator High School this year. My spare time has been going to watch him play baseball and football. I will have to find a new hobby when he gradutates and goes off to college.
I have stepchildren and grandchildren listed above.
I am really happy at this point of my life.
Sometimes I wish you could just stop time.

School Story:

My memory isn't the best but I remember having PE first hour my Senior year. I hated having a bad hair day all day from taking showers after class. We would report "O" for observing if it was that time of the month. I reported "O" for a couple of months straight. They finally called me on it and told me if I continued to report "O" I would need to get a slip from my doctor.
I remember skipping school and going to Mary Hawkin's house. Mr. Westlake came looking for us one day and we hid in these huge closets in her basement. He was friends with her parents and just walked right in the house.
I loved going to the dances at the school. Norris Hall was a weekend must! Going to Hill's Bros was a treat. I remember the carmel apples they use to have. They were so good. The Super Dairy was a happening place back in the day. It is sad to see it empty now.

It all started when Armin Eilts married Alberta Sheridan. I am glad he did. They were the best parents ever!

Mom, Kathy and I with Tex Tickle. Tex could sing The Old Rugged Cross and say the Lord's prayer. He lived on Wasson St and we would visit him on the way home from school sometimes.
